Behavior & Educational Consulting with a Behavior Specialist

Behavior Consultation for Residential Facilities, Schools, and Early Education

Based in Los Angeles, CA   |   Serving Clients Nationwide

Welcome

"It is my mission to create a positive impact on the lives of everyone I work with. I dig deep, analyzing the root cause of a child's behavior, understanding the back story, and looking at the environment to create an individualized plan that leads to lasting change. I am the person who looks for the missing piece."

Gilda Panales is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), School Psychologist, and educational consultant with 11 years of experience working with clients with challenging behaviors in schools and residential settings. Her passion is in developing and monitoring behavioral programs and providing consultive services for families and staff.

She also provides early education behavior programs. This 10-week early intervention program is for children ages 0-8 years old who display challenging behaviors at school (i.e., defiance, disruption, impulsivity, physical aggression, etc.), which interfere with their learning and social-emotional development.

Parent Consultation for Behavior & Social-Emotional Challenges

Behavior consultations provide families with valuable behavioral strategies to reduce challenging behaviors at home, school, and in the community.

We also offer a 10-week program for children 0-8 years old where we go into the daycare or school to provide onsite behavior intervention. This program includes direct work with your child as well as coaching for staff and teachers.

We will help you determine the best program for your needs during our initial conversation.

Educational Advocacy & Individualized Education Program (IEP) Review

Parent education and advocacy helps parents comprehend their child's diagnosis and formulate a plan.  We also connect parents with resources, support, and behavior services.

We assess and review IEP documents and evaluations to ensure the recommended school services align with your child's specific needs so parents can effectively advocate for their child.
